Welcome to Locing Crowns by Mel. By booking an appointment, using the website, or receiving any service, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. These conditions are designed to protect both you as a client and the business.
2. Services Provided
Locing Crowns by Mel offers mobile and home-based Loc care services, including but not limited to: starter locs, maintenance, crochet, interlocking, Loc repair, detox treatments, hydration treatments, and journey support.
All services are delivered with professionalism, care, and best practice techniques.
3. Booking & Appointments
- All appointments must be booked through the official booking system or via direct confirmation from Mel.
- A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure appointments.
- Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit is received.
- Clients must provide accurate information (hair length, condition, service needed) when booking to ensure correct timing.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your appointment will result in the loss of the deposit.
- If you need to reschedule, you must do so at least 48 hours before your appointment time.
- No-shows will be charged 100% of the service cost before any future booking is accepted.
These policies ensure time and travel costs are respected.
5. Travel & Mobile Services
- Mobile appointments are offered within Mel’s travel radius.
- If your home is difficult to access or parking is not available, please inform Mel in advance.
- The client is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean space for servicing.
6. Client Responsibilities
To receive accurate service and timing:
- Please arrive with clean, product-free hair unless you have booked a wash/detox.
- Excess build-up, matting, or Loc repair may require additional time or fees.
- Inform Mel of any scalp sensitivities, allergies, or hair concerns before service begins.
7. Payment Terms
- Remaining balances are due immediately after service.
- Payments can be made by bank transfer, card, or other approved methods.
- Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable with proper notice.
8. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of hair services:
- All services are non-refundable.
- If you have concerns, please inform Mel within 48 hours so adjustments can be discussed where possible.
- Refunds are only considered for errors directly caused by the service provider, not for personal preference changes.
9. Photography & Consent
Some photos may be taken for documentation or portfolio use.
- You will always be asked for consent before your image is shared online.
- You may decline without any impact on your service.
10. Health & Safety
- Mel reserves the right to refuse service if a client’s hair or scalp condition makes the service unsafe.
- If there are signs of infection, severe build-up, lice, open wounds, or additional concerns, the appointment may be rescheduled.
- Clients must inform Mel of any medical conditions that may affect service.
11. Right to Refuse Service
Locing Crowns by Mel reserves the right to refuse service at any time if:
- A client behaves disrespectfully
- Safety is compromised
- Policies are repeatedly violated
12. Website Use
This website may contain information, images, and text owned by Locing Crowns by Mel.
- You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without permission.
